Just an excellent fit for a transient stop in Aix-en-Provence with attractive and competitive value for money. The location was great, making it easy to get to and from the bus/train station. Park your vehicle outside if possible, as parking was tight inside.

The double bed in the family room is small, compelling the use of single beds for more comfort. The decor feels outdated and the room could use some airing out. Noise from the main road is noticeable, and the street cleanliness leaves something to be desired. The unpleasant walk into the old town is definitely a downside, and I wasn’t impressed by the absence of a confirmation before arrival or help with luggage. Soundproofing is inadequate. I could hear conversations in the adjacent room. The breakfast area is tiny and no advance details about breakfast options were provided. The instant coffee setup lacked milk.

I stayed for one night as I was eager to explore the local art scene, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room's cleanliness. I appreciated the ample space in the family room, which provided a comfortable setting for winding down after a day out. Additionally, being close to a bakery made it easy to grab breakfast before setting out to see attractions like Cours Mirabeau and the Musee Granet, both just a short stroll away.

if you're looking for cramped conditions and insufficient soundproofing, look no further! i could hear every conversation next door and the parking was a jigsaw puzzle. naturally, i expected a complimentary upgrade or at least a friendly face at the reception, but i was treated like just another guest—a travesty! i almost gave a good review but just couldn’t.

The family room was a decent size and the beds were surprisingly comfy, which was nice. The shower was pretty good too, and the room was clean. I liked that there was a fridge and a kettle for making tea. Plus, it was close to a bakery for breakfast. On the downside, the decor seemed a bit outdated and the mattress was a little too firm for my taste. But overall, it met our needs well enough for one night.
